# UnifiedWriter Remaining High-Fidelity Roadmap after v5.63.0

UnifiedWriter targets Google Docs / Word feature parity, high DOCX/DOCM compatibility, and ultimately functionality beyond those products.  After v5.63.0, the remaining work is mainly depth, fidelity and product quality.

## Priority A

- Page-crossing selection and editing.
- Full IME verification in Japanese / Chinese / Korean.
- Undo/Redo coverage for every table, image, comment, header/footer, footnote, macro and review operation.
- Clipboard normalization for rich text, tables, images and DOCX-derived content.

## Priority B

- Track Changes with OOXML `w:ins`, `w:del`, move ranges and reviewer metadata.
- Suggesting mode with accept/reject operations.
- Comment reply threads and resolved/open state round-trip.
- Version history with semantic diff.

## Priority C

- Complex styles.xml inheritance and theme font/color support.
- Multi-level numbering restart and abstractNum mapping.
- Section breaks, columns, section-specific headers/footers.
- DrawingML, VML, TextBox, Shape, Chart, Equation and SmartArt high-fidelity import/export.

## Priority D

- Print/PDF layout fidelity for long paragraphs, lists, tables, images, header/footer and footnotes.
- Japanese font embedding and fallback policies.
- Large document performance and page virtualization.

## Priority E

- Host API contract finalization.
- Automated regression runner and sample DOCX/DOCM corpus.
- Accessibility and keyboard shortcut audit.
- Production security policy for macros and Host callbacks.
